We are always looking for volunteers to join our team. The PTA allows for flexibility with any schedule - we will work with the time commitment and skills you are able to provide. No time is too little to help our community. Reach out today for any questions!

Description of Open Board Positions

VP of Events

Manages and facilitates the PTA planned events (Fall Fair, Ice Cream Social, Winterfest, Bingo, Fun Run, etc.) which includes communicating with event chairs (and finding chair people for events that do not have them) to make sure they have the support they need to make their events happen as desired, updating the board on PTA events, and canceling events due to lack of interest/volunteers/leadership. Please note this position does not mean you are responsible for running all of these events, only finding individuals to chair them and then assisting as needed.

Develops and implements DEI key initiatives with Woodin PTA’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategic priorities. Informs Woodin PTA’s decision-making processes by providing an equity and inclusion-based lens.

DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) Chair

Serves as liaison between the PTA and Natural Leaders.

Natural Leaders Chair

Special Education Chair

Serves as a representative for families receiving special education services. Works with Northshore council PTSA to connect with other district chairs.
