Fall 2026 Classes

Quick Facts:

• The PTA-organized After-Class Enrichment (ACE) Program will run for six weeks this fall, beginning September 29 or September 30, depending on the class, and continuing through the first week of November.

• Classes will be offered on Tuesday & Wednesday immediately after school

• Each class requires one parent volunteer to help ensure that two adults are present with students at all times. Parent volunteers must be PTA members and approved Northshore School District volunteers.

• If the class does not meet the minimum number of enrolled students and/or does not obtain a parent volunteer, the class may be cancelled

• The student of the parent volunteer will receive discounted tuition for the class

• Registration opens Monday, August 31st and will be completed online through the Woodin PTA booking system or 6crickets.

• Full and partial scholarships are available on a limited basis for families in need. To request a scholarship, please complete the Scholarship Request Form.

• Scholarship Request Deadline: Wednesday, September 16

• Registration Deadline: Friday, September 18

Capoeira – Brazilian Martial Art

Spark STEM- Chemistry Basics

The unique art of Capoeira offers a special way for kids to become stronger physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Through the playful “game” of capoeira, kids become incredibly aware of their surroundings, challenges, and fears. Exploring fun movements like cartwheels, handstands, jumps, acrobatic attacks, and defensive moves makes learning much more exciting.

This upcoming Fall we are hosting a program at Woodin for children in grades 3-5 with the topic being Chemistry! We will be touching on basic Chemistry concepts through the means of hands-on activities and labs. As well as learning simple concepts related to that topic and how to apply them, your child will also get the chance to learn real world skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, design, and more! SPARK STEM is taught by volunteers from Woodinville High School.

Get ready for a deliciously creative season full of food-inspired art, storytelling, design, and hands-on making! In this exciting Fall session, young artists will explore watercolor, clay, chalk pastels, collage, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, and more while creating projects inspired by cozy foods, cultural dishes, imaginative cafés, bakeries, and harvest-time creativity.

Video Game Making

Join the Videogame Making class and turn your ideas into a game! Students will explore different parts of game design—like creating characters, building game worlds, or coding game mechanics—based on what interests them most. Working together, kids will use their creativity to help build a unique videogame project of their own. Class is taught by parent volunteer.

Students will create Keepsake Hand building Pottery Piece and Visual art projects as they learn different techniques of drawing, sketching, coloring with paints, oil pastels, charcoal and work with clay.
