The Woodin PTA is excited to provide after school activities right at Woodin! Classes will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday right afterschool. In partnership with local organizations and Woodin parents, we offer students the opportunity to explore the arts, sports, STEM and more through these programs. Spring 2025 Classes

Quick Facts:

  • Sessions for Spring 2025 will be 7-8 weeks, depending on the class offered

  • Classes will be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesday - Note that Art is offered both days.

  • One parent volunteer is required for each class to ensure that there are two adults present with students at all times to keep children safe and accounted for

  • Parent volunteers must be PTA members and be approved Northshore School District volunteers

  • If a class does not meet the minimum number of enrolled students and/or does not obtain a parent volunteer, that class will be cancelled

  • Tuition will be offered at a 50% discount for the student of the parent volunteer

  • Registration will be completed online through vendor or Woodin PTA booking systems

  • Full and partial scholarships are available on a limited basis for families in need. To apply for a scholarship please use this form

Art - Creative Hands
  • Day of the Week: Wednesday

GOALS will be hosting an exceptional youth soccer enrichment program that promotes an active lifestyle, builds confidence, and teaches values that can be used on and off the field. Every session is packed full of fun and game-based activities that teach your students soccer fundamentals and leaving them wanting more. Brush up on your skills for the 2025 Copa Mundial!

Create Hands Studio will be teaching a fun hands-on art series with various media! Students get trained to perform original masterpieces in pottery making, canvas painting, sketching, collage, glazing and more! Think pinch pot mug, coil bowls, dog and self portraits! You’ll want to display all of your artwork for years to come!

Drama

Seattle Performers will be bringing Willy Wonka to Woodin! In this theater musical performance, all students will be singing, dancing and acting. The last class will be a play for parents to enjoy!

Willy Wonka Description: Young Charlie Bucket, the only son of the kind but penniless Mr. and Mrs. Bucket, miraculously finds a Golden Ticket that will grant him both a lifetime supply of chocolate and the opportunity to tour Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. Charlie and the other ticket winners are tested by the many temptations and delights within the factory walls. The world of Wonka is rich with chocolate rivers, four-course-dinner gum, levitation

Woodinville High School joins Woodin Elementary for a 6 week session teaching STEAM concepts in the realm of robotics. Curriculum is designed around playful narrative-based problem-solving with relatable themes that can develop young students into independent STEAM thinkers. During each lesson, students brainstorm and develop creative solutions through trial and error while collaborating with their peers.

This season, young artists will dive into a world of 2D and 3D magic, exploring Warli-inspired art, Kusama clay flowers, pop-up paper arts, 3D fruit sculptures, vases, and bold tape art. Through painting, sculpting, and mixed media, they'll layer, experiment, and bring their stories to life—full of color, creativity, and joyful mess!

Little VetSchool - Canine

After "adopting" their very own plush puppy, students will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian, including how to properly perform a nose-to-tail exam. These future veterinarians will learn how to sew stitches, remove ticks, make healthy treats, and vaccinate their dog, etc.

Let’s travel across the map together with Snapology! In this program, students will work together to learn fun facts about each US state & territory. They will work with a partner to build one important item from each state’s identity out of LEGO® bricks. They will then present this to the class and by the end of the program, they will have a greater understanding of key aspects of each U.S State and Territory. Students will have a blast learning about culture & geography while expressing their creativity while building.
